ABOUT

We are a family friendly company based at Wildtrack Lodge in the lower Zambezi, Zambia. Only 3 ½ hours drive from Lusaka, we are situated directly on the banks of the Zambezi River. From the vantage point of our lodge boma and gardens you are treated to panoramic views of the infamous river as it flows downstream between papyrus islands, pods of hippos and wildlife wallowing along the shores.

We specialize in offering a wide range of outdoor activities and adventures for the whole family or team building events. We hope you enjoy browsing our website to find out more about our broad range of accommodation options and programs to suit your individual needs and budgets. We look forward to helping you plan your perfect trip and welcoming you at Wildtracks soon.

THE LODGE

Zambezi Drifters @ Wildtracks Lodge

Our lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Come and relax by our river-side swimming pool or chill in our the large boma overlooking the mighty Zambezi. There are plenty of areas to eat and drink including our dining area, under a shady tree in our lush, forested garden or even a little further a field in the bush surrounded by baobab trees. At night why not toast marshmallows or bake stick-bread around our family fire pit and share tales of safari life accompanied by the sound of the bush.  Located in the GMA it is always worth keeping an eye out for wildlife. Elephants, hippos, monkeys, and a huge variety of birds are frequent visitors to the camp, whilst on the riverbanks opposite waterbuck, impala, warthog, and baboons are often seen, and if you are lucky even some rarer animals, such as herds of buffalo come down to the river to bathe.

THE KITCHEN

We offer a catered option or self-catering if you prefer. Our spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The lodge also has a large outdoor braai area. Cooking for yourself doesn’t have to be hard: we provide a dish-washing service and have fully trained chefs at your service should you require them to give you a helping hand.

We currently do not have a bar at Wildtracks so please stock up on your own beverages before arriving.
